For Commercial & Industrial Hire

Temporary HVAC, refrigeration and power requirements are rarely solved by equipment capacity alone.

The temporary system also needs to work with the site’s existing infrastructure, operating conditions, available services and physical constraints.

Aircon Rentals’ designers and engineers work through these requirements to determine the equipment, connections and system configuration needed for the application.

Our Design & Engineering service supports temporary cooling, heating, refrigeration and power systems for planned shutdowns, emergency response, additional capacity, equipment replacement and project requirements.

Depending on the application, this can include system sizing, equipment selection, temporary pipework and ducting, electrical requirements, connection details, equipment positioning, CAD design and 3D modelling.

Where standard rental equipment is not suitable, we can also develop customised configurations for specific technical or site requirements.

Temporary System Design

Every project starts with understanding what the temporary system actually needs to achieve.

Our engineering team considers factors such as required capacity, operating temperatures, flow rates, equipment configuration, electrical requirements, controls and redundancy.

The aim is to develop a temporary system around the operating requirement rather than selecting equipment based on capacity alone.

Site Integration & Connections

Temporary equipment often needs to connect into existing HVAC, refrigeration, process or electrical infrastructure.

We consider available connection points, temporary pipework and hose routes, ducting, electrical supply and the interfaces between rental equipment and existing plant.

This is particularly important where the temporary system needs to operate alongside permanent equipment or where site infrastructure creates connection constraints.

CAD Design & 3D Modelling

For larger or more complex installations, drawings and modelling can help establish how the temporary system will physically work before equipment arrives.

Our engineering capability can include CAD drawings, 3D modelling, temporary system layouts, equipment positioning and connection details.

This provides greater clarity for projects involving limited space, complex connections or multiple pieces of temporary equipment.

Custom Equipment & System Configurations

Some projects cannot be supported using a standard rental arrangement.

Aircon Rentals can develop customised equipment configurations and temporary system components around specific project requirements.

This may include restricted-access installations, unusual connection requirements, specialist operating conditions, redundancy requirements or integration with existing plant.
